Northeast seniors and their parents & guardians are invited to attend a Financial Aid Program that will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 1 at 7:00 pm in the LNE Theatre. An Education Quest representative will explain: (1) types of financial aid; (2) how to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) & (3) where to go for help. Don’t forget! The 2009 Star Strutter Drill Team Show is TONIGHT at 7:30 pm in the North Gym. Admission to the show is $5 or $4 with a donation of a canned food item to the Food Bank of Lincoln. Hope to see you there!

LNE AFJROTC students are selling tickets for the Lincoln Stars vs. Green Bay hockey game on Dec. 18. Tickets are $14.00 each for a reserved bleacher seat and are available through Dec. 2. Please see Lt. Col. Pullen or MSgt. Woodruff in rooms 134 or 10 ~ or, any AFJROTC cadet (student) to buy a ticket and support AFJROTC community service and morale/welfare/recreation (MWR) programs.
Boys interested in playing the second session of indoor soccer at Abbott Sports Complex should register by Wednesday, Nov. 25 in the LNE Athletic Office. The cost is $50 per player. The 8-game session begins Saturday, Dec. 19. In order to be on the team roster, you will need to register and include your payment. New players who did not play in the first session will also need to include a signed waiver and a small photo of yourself. Pick up a flyer in the LNE Athletic Office for more information.

Nebraska Educational Media Association (NEMA) is holding a LOGO CONTEST. They are 40 years old and need a new LOGO. If you would like to participate ~ stop by the Media Center for all the particulars. The winning Logo Creator will receive an iPod Touch. Deadline: March 1, 2010.
