Seniors take a survey at start of
the school year indicating their post-secondary plans, their top 3 schools of
interest, top 2 areas of study, and workshop topics in which they are interested.

NCIS is available for students to
do college searches and gather information about colleges.
*
Workshops are offered on topics such
as applying to college, scholarships, and financial aid.
*
Students wanting to improve ACT/SAT
scores should register for fall testing(s).
*
Students are encouraged to complete
college applications in the fall to maximize their chances for scholarships.
*
Many scholarship opportunities are
published in the Rocket Launcher. Students are encouraged to check on scholarship
opportunities regularly and watch deadlines.
*
Students and parents should plan to
file their taxes early in order to complete the FAFSA (Free Application for
Federal Student Aid) by March 1st
