Counseling Center Announcements for the Week of May 14th;

Students interested in joining the Latinos Unidos club for the upcoming school year should see Sra. Hernandez to sign up or sign up on the door in room 236.  As Sra. gets names she will invite those students to Google Classroom for announcements and club ideas for next year.  All students are welcome.  

Yearbooks have arrived! They will be distributed through Monday of Finals Week. If you ordered a 2018 yearbook, please pick it up during first or second lunch from the Rocket Store in the Commons. If you did not order a yearbook but still want one, they will be available for purchase for $70. Don't miss this year's awesome annual, the 2018 ROCKET! If you have any questions, please see Mr. Reda in room 150 or room 132.

"Want to be in marching band but don't know how to play an instrument? Join color guard! Color Guard tryouts begin every day this week after school from 3:30-5:30. Please plan to attend every day. Come talk to Mr. Vuu if you have any questions. In addition, drum line tryouts start this week in the band room from 3:30-4:30 every day after school."

"Chromebooks will be checked back in after our last final.  Our last final of the year is 4th period.  If you do not have a 4th period in the building, please make sure you check in your chromebook to the media center before you leave for the summer." Students that attend TCA MUST turn in their chromebooks in at Northeast NOT at TCA.
TCA will not be checking in any chromebooks.

Rockets -- Please return your library books before you leave for summer vacation. Charges for lost books/not returned will appear on your Student VUE.

Rocket House will be available during finals Tuesday, May 22nd until 3:00pm and Wednesday, May23rd until 1:00pm.

The Rocket Market! The Rocket Market will be Thursday, May 17th from 3:00 - 3:30 pm in the Cafeteria Commons.

World Language Students interested in studying abroad in the Spring of 2019 there are scholarships available for the following countries:
Chile, France, Germany & Spain
Please speak to your language teacher or Sra. Hernández to get a head start on the application.

 Participation packets for students planning on participating in athletics and/or activities next year are now available online. Go to the LNE Athletic web page and click on the link for step by step instructions. Parent and Student consent forms can be electronically signed and the physical examination form can be uploaded from your computer or phone. Physicals dated May 1 or after of 2018 are good for the 2018-19 school year. Hard copies of the packet are available in the athletic office for families who do not have internet access.

Summer Clinic registration forms are now available in the Athletic Office.  Summer clinics will be offered for basketball, football, girls soccer, softball, tennis, track & field, volleyball, pole vault, student broadcasting. Students interested in being a student athletic trainer should stop in the training room for information.

Seniors - you will receive your immunization record (shot record) in you diploma folder. Keep your record, you will need it for employment, college, travel, and other reasons. Congratulations and Best Wishes - The Health Office

REMINDER: Students who have been using the elevator MUST return their elevator keys immediately after your final exam next week or you will be charged with a $25 fine. Please return your key to Ms. Upah, in the main office.   Thank you and good luck on your final exams!

Starting Monday, May 21st, you should be clearing out your locker. You have Monday and Tuesday to get everything out. Wednesday- security will be checking lockers and removing the locks.

Be sure to check StudentVue for outstanding fines/fees.  Having outstanding fines/fees can prevent you from participating in the graduation ceremony.  All outstanding fines/fees must be cleared by Thursday, May 24th at 3:30 pm.  Fines/fees should be paid to the book keeper in room 102.  If you have questions regarding specific fines/fees, please see Mrs. VanEngen in room 102 or Ms. Upah or Ms. Rinehart in the main office.
