Attention Juniors: The next ACT test is Saturday, June 14 at Northeast. Register by today, May 9 to avoid the late fee. Go to www.actstudent.org. Students who are eligible can pick up a Voucher from their Counselor.
Summer School (June 11-July 23) is the best way to “catch up on your credits” to assure you will graduate on time with your class. See your Counselor this week for more information.

Students still interested in designing next year’s Once a Rocket, Always a Rocket t-shirt will be interested to know that the rules have changed slightly. We are now accepting hand drawn designs. Turn your entry into the Athletic Office by 3:15 today, May 9.

The Northeast Talent Show will be held tonight, May 9 at 7:00 pm in the North Gym. Come watch the drama, dancing & singing of our talented students! Adults-$5; Students-$3 and children 3 and under-Free! All proceeds go to the Peoples City Mission.

Please come to Lincoln High School (South Gym-West Johnson Gym Entrance) on Tuesday, May 13 at 7:00 pm for a presentation from the Todd Becker Foundation. Todd Becker was killed in an alcohol-related car accident as a senior in high school. Keith, his brother, has made it his mission to educate high school youth on the dangers of drinking and driving.

Lincoln Police will randomly survey the student parking lots and select vehicles that are locked with all valuables out of sight. Each vehicle selected will have its license plate entered into the drawing for $50 cash! Survey ends today, May 9. Winners notified May 14th. Good Luck!

There will be open gym for volleyball on May 13, May 14, May 21, May 22 & May 27 at LNE from 3:10-4:30. Come and work out and play some volleyball!

THE ROCK SHOW IS COMING TO NORTHEAST next Friday & Saturday, May 16 & 17. Plan to come to the North Gym at 7:30 pm to hear great music by the Jazz Band, Chamber Singers & Voices ‘N Harmony! Cost is $5 for adults, $4 for students with ID & Free for Seniors with a Gold Card. It’s where the action will be….be there!

The Rocket yearbook is looking for sports photographers and a business manager for next year's staff. If you are interested in being a part of the staff -- and taking photos at sporting events -- talk to Ms. Helmink in Room 41S or see your counselor for an application.
