Students who would like to be involved in Joven Noble or Latinos Unidos, please see Sra. Hernández for the forms necessary to participate. Joven Noble will continue to meet 1x per month, the last Wednesday of the month during 7th. Latinos Unidos will meet on Wednesday as well and will be creating a school exhibit to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. Both of these groups are a great way to find new resources and friends!
The Registration deadline for the October 24 ACT Test is Friday, Sept. 25th
The Community Learning Center programs are up and running. All students must have the CLC Waiver completed prior to attending. Use the jump code ‘R8YG’ to complete the waiver.
Cheerleaders will be selling $1.00 bags of popcorn in the concession stand Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week for Spirit Week!

STUCO is sponsoring a door decorating contest to show your Rocket Pride with your 5th period teacher! Judging will be done Thursday during 5th period and prizes will be awarded!
For students whose parents purchased a picture packet from Lifetouch, you can pick up your pictures in the main office. They will also be available this week during lunch in the cafeteria.

Join the Lincoln Northeast Trap Club for a “Familiarization Day” to see what Trap is and if you would like to participate in Trap season in the spring. Find out how participating in Trap can help build confidence, individual skills, teamwork, and new relationships. The Familiarization Day is this Saturday, September 19 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the Lincoln Trap and Skeet Club. (4855 North 48th Street – just north of 48th and Superior). Coaches and team members will be available to answer questions. A responsible adult is required to be present for any student wishing to participate in Trap.
