The LNE Auto Club will be hosting a car show. We plan to take over the entire Northeast parking lot and will have all types of cars and food trucks present. It is open to the public so everyone is welcome. Sunday, April 25th from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. Students that are looking for volunteer hours please go to the LPS homepage & type in Jumpcode: YSO8 to sigh-up.

We would like to remind Seniors and all our Northeast Students to please return any books or materials you may have at home from previous school years or semesters. We will begin entering fines for any unreturned items in May. Even just a couple unreturned books/materials can add up to hundreds of dollars in fines and keep you from participating in school events next year like Homecoming, prom or even getting a parking permit. If you would like to know if you have any items to return you can go see Ms. Munford in the Main Office and she would be happy to let you know what you have checked out under your name. You may return any materials/books to the Main Office or room 102.

Seniors who are interested in speaking at graduation should use jump code YQPH to fill out an audition form. Auditions for students who apply will be held on Thursday April 29 in Room 110 right after school.

The Food Bank of Lincoln will be at Northeast High School on Tuesday, April 20 from 5:00 – 6:00 pm as a distribution point for families to pick up groceries. We are excited to be able to offer the class of 2021 the opportunity to attend prom this year on Saturday April 17th from 8-11:00pm. Student Council is now accepting applications for the 2021-22 school year! StuCo is a fun way to get involved with the school and community! Use the jumpcode, Y3PA, to fill out the application!

Student Council will be selling prom tickets during the week of April 12-April 15 during all three lunches. Tickets will be sold to LNE Seniors ONLY. Prom is on April 17 from 8-11 in the Center Gym. Tickets will be $15! Students unable to purchase tickets during lunch will have to contact their admin to purchase their ticket.

Student Council is having an Awareness Week to advocate for a fun and safe Prom night by not drinking and driving. We encourage seniors to sign a slip of paper when purchasing their prom tickets to show they pledge not to drink and drive. Instead of having a regular Spirit Week full of themes to dress up for, we would like students to participate in a Random Act of Kindness Week. The acts are: Monday- give someone a compliment, Tuesday- hold the door open for someone, Wednesday- check up on someone, Thursday- show appreciation for a teacher by writing a letter or small note, and Friday- wave or say hi to at least 5 people in the hallway.

Student Council is hosting a Make-A-Wish event. The event is going to be a Student vs. Student basketball game, following the game, the winner will be playing a Staff team. The event is to raise money for Make-A-Wish. The sign-up sheet to participate in the game is in the Athletic office as well as the Main office. The fee to play is $1, and the admission to watch the games will be $2. Concessions will also be available.
