Important Senior Information

Kahoa Honor Walk

Seniors, if you attended Kahoa Elementary during Elementary school, please be on the lookout for an email regarding the Senior Honor Walk that Kahoa will be hosting in May. For any questions, please contact the Kahoa Main Office.

Make-Up Senior EXIT Meeting

Graduating Seniors who did not attend a Senior EXIT Meeting last week – PLEASE attend the make-up meeting either period 3 or 5 on Tuesday, April 26th in the LNE Auditorium. This is a REQUIRED meeting for all graduating seniors.

Senior Honors Night Information

The Class of 2022 Senior Honors Night will take place on May 19th at 7:00 PM in the LNE Auditorium. Seniors who have earned Academic Honors (Graduation Honors, Departmental Honors, and Scholarship Recipients) will be recognized. Students and Parents/Guardians will be notified by email on May 6th if they will be recognized at the event.

Seniors will let school staff know of accepted scholarships the student will use for college during Senior EXIT Meetings.

The last day to update any scholarships you received will be next Wednesday, May 4th. See Ms. Lindhurst in the Counseling Center with updated information.

Final Transcript Request

Seniors may use the Jump Code BQO2 to request their final transcript. For questions regarding your final transcript, please contact our registrar, Anna Mabry.

Senior Breakfast & Senior Meeting

Seniors are invited to join each other for a free breakfast served by LNE staff on May 24th from 7:15 – 7:45 a.m. After breakfast, seniors will go to the LNE Auditorium for the last Senior Meeting at 7:45 a.m. If you are not able to join us for breakfast we HIGHLY ENCOURAGE all seniors to attend the senior meeting as we will be sharing important graduation information.

Senior Google Drive Downloads

Are you graduating or leaving LPS AND wanting to save the information on your Google Drive? Use Jump Code GTR7 for instructions on how to complete this task. Please note that those students graduating and those leaving LPS in May will no longer have access to their Google Accounts after the last day of school on May 25th. Please complete this process by the last day of school if you are wanting your Google Drive files.

Last Chance for Cap & Gown Orders

The deadline for having graduation items ordered & shipped is May 18th. Students will still be able to place orders online after May 18th, but they will need to pick everything up from the Signature Graduation office. Their office is open Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.

Free & Reduced/Fee Waiver Cap and Gown Information

If you qualify for Free & Reduced lunch, please see Mrs. Ourada in the Main office to ask about the fee waiver process to get a cap and gown at no cost.

If you place an order through the online ordering system with Signature Graduation BEFORE you submit a fee waiver, you will not be able to get your money back.

Graduation

For your planning purposes, the LNE Class of 2022 will graduate at Pinnacle Bank Arena on Saturday, May 28th, 2022 at 3:30 p.m. We look forward to celebrating your student’s final year at Lincoln Northeast!

Senior Fines/Fees

Prom is fast approaching and students who have outstanding fines and fees will not be able to purchase tickets from Prom. We encourage all students to check their fines/fees and get them paid or return overdue materials before tickets go on sale in April.

Counseling Center Updates

  • Summer School – Registration is now open to ALL students grades 9-12 through next Friday, May 6th. See your School Counselor for help selecting classes if needed. Further information is available on the LPS or LNE Summer School website.
  • June ACT Testing – The Registration Deadline to take the June 11th ACT Test is next Friday, May 6th. Fee Waivers are available for students with financial need. See you school counselor for assistance.
  • Career Academy Applications – The Career Academy applications are still open for next year, but time is running out! To apply, go to the LPS website and search The Career Academy. The application takes 2 minutes!

Yearbooks

If you haven’t purchased a yearbook this year, you still have time! Use jumpcode RYY2 to purchase your yearbook. The deadline to order is May 1st. Yearbooks are $70.

LNE Color Guard

Are you interested in becoming part of the LNE Color Guard?! The Color Guard performs alongside the Marching Rockets at all football games, competitions, and events. No music or prior flag experience is necessary. If you are interested or you want to find out more information, fill out the Google Form which can be found by using jump code: YAR8.

PRISM Club

Meets on Thursday April 28th from 3:00-4:00 p.m. LPS Pride Prom is also on the 28th from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m. at East High in their South Gym. Tickets will be sold at the door for $5.00 and can only be purchased by current LPS high school students with a student ID. 9th thru 12th grade LPS students can purchase a maximum of 2 tickets. Students can bring a non-LPS student guest as long as they also have a valid picture ID and are in high-school or under the age of 21. This year’s theme is “gaymers”, so come join us and get your “Gayme” on!

Stuco Student Vs. Faculty Basketball Game

Student Council is putting on a student vs staff basketball game for Make-A-Wish on Wednesday, May 11th from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. There is a $1 fee to sign up. Sign-ups will begin next Monday, May 2 and will end on Monday, May 9th.

STUCO Feminine Hygiene Drive

The student council is putting on a feminine product drive. This is a drive where you can donate personal care supplies for women in need. There will be boxes around the school to donate. We will take donations of body wash, deodorant, feminine products, and other personal care supplies. We will not accept open or used products. The drive will start April 4th and go through until April 29th.

Northeast Student Council is now accepting applications for the 2022-2023 school year!! Visit jumpcode BPG6 to submit an application. All applications and teacher recommendation forms must be submitted by midnight on April 29th in order to be considered for an interview. We look forward to accepting new members!!
