LNE’s Gay Straight Alliance will be meeting for the final time this school year on Thursday, April 29th. Join us for a rainbow Tie-Dye event. We’ll start in Room 204 and then head outside (if the weather permits). Bring something white that you plan to dye. Club will go a bit longer so that we can have a picnic while seniors share their parting wisdom. GSA will be from 3-4:30.

Seniors who are interested in speaking at graduation should use jump code YQPH to fill out an audition form. Auditions for students who apply will be held on Thursday April 29 in Room 110 right after school.
Summer School will be offered at Lincoln North Star and Lincoln Southeast, May 26 – July 2. On-Line Registration this week is for all grades. https://home.lps.org/summerschool/
Students should consult with their school counselor to determine courses. The deadline for all Summer School applications will be May 7th.
Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory Grading for Semester 2 The deadline to submit the “Request For change in Course Evaluation” form has been extended to May 20th. See your school counselor to request the on-line Google Form link or paper application to request S/U grading.
Any graduating senior who DID NOT attend the Mandatory Senior Meeting last week – There will be a make-up meeting on Tuesday, April 27th at 1:35 PM in the LNE Auditorium.
SENIORS – May 4th will be the last day to submit scholarship information for the Senior Honors Night program, Jumpcode PMYS.
JUNIORS – The Registration Deadline for the June 12th ACT Test is May 7th, and the June 5th SAT Test Registration Deadline is also May 6th. See your counselor if you need help applying or are eligible for a test Fee Waiver.
We would like to remind Seniors and all our Northeast Students to please return any books or materials you may have at home from previous school years or semesters. We will begin entering fines for any unreturned items in May. Even just a couple unreturned books/materials can add up to hundreds of dollars in fines and keep you from participating in school events next year like Homecoming, prom or even getting a parking permit.
If you would like to know if you have any items to return you can go see Ms. Munford in the Main Office and she would be happy to let you know what you have checked out under your name. You may return any materials/books to the Main Office or room 102.
Student Council is now accepting applications for the 2021-22 school year! StuCo is a fun way to get involved with the school and community! Use the jumpcode, Y3PA, to fill out the
Student Council is hosting a Make-A-Wish event. The event is going to be a Student vs. Student basketball game, following the game, the winner will be playing a Staff team. The event is to raise money for Make-A-Wish. The sign-up sheet to participate in the game is in the Athletic office as well as the Main office. The fee to play is $1, and the admission to watch the games will be $2. Concessions will also be available. May 11th. Doors will open at 6:15p.m. and the game will start at 6:30 p.m. The event will last until 8:00 p.m.
