Counseling Center Updates

  • Armed Services Visit
    • The Coast Guard will be visiting our LNE students over the lunch hour on Friday, November 19th.
  •  ASVAB Testing
    • The ASVAB Test will be given on November 30th here at LNE. The ASVAB is free and will help you connect your abilities with potential careers. Students can sign up under the jump code BMP1 on their chromebooks. More information can be found in their googleclassroom or see Mr. Neilly in the counseling office.
  •  ACT Late Registration
    • The late registration deadline for the December 11th ACT is this Friday, November 19th. See your friendly LNE counselor if you need help or are eligible for a fee waiver.

Cap & Gown Orders

Northeast works with Signature Graduation to provide you with graduation announcements and the ordering of caps and gowns. If you order apparel on the website, your apparel should arrive within two weeks of your ordering date. Otherwise, you will receive your other products sometime later in the year when all items are available to ship out. Your orders will be sent directly to the address you choose. Free & Reduced/Fee Waiver Cap and Gown Information

If you qualify for Free & Reduced lunch, please see Mrs. Ourada in the Main office to ask about the fee waiver process to get a cap and gown at no cost.

If you place an order through the online ordering system with Signature Graduation BEFORE you submit a fee waiver, you will not be able to get your money back.

Graduation

For your planning purposes, the LNE Class of 2022 will graduate at Pinnacle Bank Arena on Saturday, May 28th, 2022 at 3:30 p.m. We look forward to celebrating your student’s final year at Lincoln Northeast!

Senior Ads

Use jump code RYY2 and select “Purchase a Senior Ad.” There will be three options – “Have the School Design My Ad,” “Design My Own Ad Online,” and “Upload My Finished Ad.” Choose your option and follow the prompts.You’ll then be guided to the payment page, where you can confirm and purchase your ad. Any ads must be purchased by January 15, 2022.

Skills USA Fundraiser

Feeling hungry after school? Not sure where to get your next snack? Check out Meats Galore! This fundraiser supporting SkillsUSA will be selling flavored smoked meat sticks after school this week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Meats Galore has 4 different flavors of snack stick available for just 1 dollar each. Come try them all and see if you can handle our hottest flavor: Ghost Fire! Stop by our tables in the Commons and by the Main Office from 2:55 to 3:20 p.m. this Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Black Caucus

The student Black Caucus will meet the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month, in Room 114. Come join us to get your voices heard!

Auto Club Oil Change Event

The LNE Auto Club in Partnership with Fellowship Community Church are offering 40 free oil changes to families in need. We know that things might be tight before the holidays and we want to help.

In addition to oil changes, we will be holding a clothing and food drive. The clothing will go to the LNE Clothing closet, and the food will be donated to the Food Bank. Any clothing leftover will be donated to other schools in the area, People’s City Mission, and/or the Global Green Clothing which supports Lincoln Children’s Zoo.

Items that are needed are:

  • backpacks for school
  • tennis shoes, good condition or new all sizes 7 and up
  • casual shoes, good condition or new, women’s or men’s size 7 and up
  • boys socks, ankle or crew sizes 7-12
  • girls socks, ankle or crew sizes 6-10

HOSA EMS Presentation

HOSA is hosting Station 5 Emergency Medical Services at LNE on Monday, November 22nd. They will park their vehicles near the teacher parking lot from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. to do the presentation. Anyone interested is welcome to join us in room 245 after school for questions and demonstrations. A tour of the vehicles and equipment used will follow.
