Important Senior Information

Counseling Center Updates

  • This Friday (11/5) is the registration deadline for the December 11th ACT test. For some colleges, this could be the last opportunity to take the ACT. ACT Registration HELP will be available in the Counseling Center Monday, Tuesday, & Wed. Fee waivers are available for students with financial need.
  • The Coast Guard will be visiting our LNE students over the lunch hour on Friday, November 19th.

Volleybrawl

SENIORS BOYS! Ever wanted to brawl it out in the gym? Well now you can! The National Honor Society is hosting our annual Volley Brawl Tournament on Wednesday, November 10th @ 6:00—9:00 p.m. in the North Gym.

There is a $5 fee for each player, and each team must consist of 6-7 people. Players are responsible for signing themselves up on the sheet outside of Room 112 by November 5th. Teams must be either all Junior or all Senior boys.

Not interested in brawling it out on the court? No worries! Spectators of all grades are welcome with a $3 entry fee. All fees go to the NHS local and global projects.

Cap & Gown Orders

Northeast works with Signature Graduation to provide you with graduation announcements and the ordering of caps and gowns. If you order apparel on the website, your apparel should arrive within two weeks of your ordering date. Otherwise, you will receive your other products sometime later in the year when all items are available to ship out. Your orders will be sent directly to the address you choose. Free & Reduced/Fee Waiver Cap and Gown Information

If you qualify for Free & Reduced lunch, please see Mrs. Ourada in the Main office to ask about the fee waiver process to get a cap and gown at no cost.

If you place an order through the online ordering system with Signature Graduation BEFORE you submit a fee waiver, you will not be able to get your money back.

Graduation

For your planning purposes, the LNE Class of 2022 will graduate at Pinnacle Bank Arena on Saturday, May 28th, 2022 at 3:30 p.m. We look forward to celebrating your student’s final year at Lincoln Northeast!

Senior Ads

Use jump code RYY2 and select “Purchase a Senior Ad.” There will be three options – “Have the School Design My Ad,” “Design My Own Ad Online,” and “Upload My Finished Ad.” Choose your option and follow the prompts.You’ll then be guided to the payment page, where you can confirm and purchase your ad. Any ads must be purchased by January 15, 2022.

PreACT Testing

All 10th & 11th grade students will be taking the PreACT this Thursday, November 4th beginning at 8:00 a.m. and ending around noon.

Counseling Center Updates

  • The deadline to take a class for Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory credit is Tuesday, November 2nd. Check your grade level Google Classroom for a digital application form, or see your school counselor.

Skills USA Fundraiser

Feeling hungry after school? Not sure where to get your next snack? Check out Meats Galore! This fundraiser supporting SkillsUSA will be selling flavored smoked meat sticks after school next week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Meats Galore has 4 different flavors of snack stick available for just 1 dollar each. Come try them all and see if you can handle our hottest flavor: Ghost Fire! Stop by our tables in the Commons and by the Main Office from 2:55 to 3:20 on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Capitol City Bowling

The Capitol City Bowling Club is a startup club to provide Lincoln high school-aged youth the opportunity to compete against youth from other Lincoln schools. Students interested, will need to submit an email to CapitolCityBowling@gmail.com and include their Name, Grade Level, and Attending School. Deadline is November 10. More information is available from the athletic office.

Black Caucus

The student Black Caucus will meet the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month, in Room 114. Come join us to get your voices heard!
