Counseling Center Updates

  • Tuesday, October 5th
    • Apply2College Week – Private Colleges Periods 2 & 3: Nebraska Private College Admissions representatives and LNE Counselors will be available to help seniors complete applications to private colleges and universities in the Media Center. Attendance will be taken.
    • LNE College Fair – Periods 6, 7, & After School in the Center Gym. Announcements will be made each period. Only students who registered for the event will be admitted.
    • SENIOR PARENTS & STUDENTS – LNE Financial Aid Night, 6:00 PM, LNE Auditorium Learn about the FAFSA , Scholarships, and other financial aid to pay for college.
  • Wednesday, October 6th
    • Apply2College Week – Apply to Public Colleges & Universities. Period 2,3,5 or 6 in the Media Center. Attendance will be taken.
  • Thursday, October 7th
    • SCC Day – Accuplacer Test Beginning at 12:15 p.m. – LNE Media Center
  • Friday, October 8th
    • SAT Test – Registration Deadline for the November 6th, 2021 SAT Test. Fee waivers are available for students with financial need; see your school counselor.

Cap & Gown Orders

Northeast works with Signature Graduation to provide you with graduation announcements and the ordering of caps and gowns. If you order apparel on the website, your apparel should arrive within two weeks of your ordering date. Otherwise, you will receive your other products sometime later in the year when all items are available to ship out. Your orders will be sent directly to the address you choose. Free & Reduced/Fee Waiver Cap and Gown Information

If you qualify for Free & Reduced lunch, please see Mrs. Ourada in the Main office to ask about the fee waiver process to get a cap and gown at no cost.

If you place an order through the online ordering system with Signature Graduation BEFORE you submit a fee waiver, you will not be able to get your money back.

Graduation

For your planning purposes, the LNE Class of 2022 will graduate at Pinnacle Bank Arena on Saturday, May 28th, 2022 at 3:30 p.m. We look forward to celebrating your student’s final year at Lincoln Northeast!

Senior Pictures

Use the SENIOR PICTURES link or use jump code GYPL to learn more about how to submit your Senior Yearbook photo. Photos must be submitted through this webpage by October 31, 2021! Any photos received after this date are not guaranteed to be included in the yearbook.

Senior Ads

Use jump code RYY2 and select “Purchase a Senior Ad.” There will be three options – “Have the School Design My Ad,” “Design My Own Ad Online,” and “Upload My Finished Ad.” Choose your option and follow the prompts.You’ll then be guided to the payment page, where you can confirm and purchase your ad. Any ads must be purchased by January 15, 2022.

Counseling Center Updates

  • Juniors & Sophomores – The deadline to register for the October 16th PSAT test is this Friday, October 8th. The PSAT Test is the entrance exam for the National Merit Scholarship Competition. This national test is given only one time each year. Sophomores may take the test for practice but Juniors – this is the test for entrance to the National Merit Scholarship Competition. Register in the LNE Counseling Center. The test fee is $30.00. Fee waivers for JUNIORS with financial need are available.
  • Juniors – Periods 6, 7, & After School: The LNE COLLEGE FAIR is Tuesday, October 5th in the Center Gym. Only students who registered for the event will be admitted.

Yearbook

The Yearbook staff is busy making the yearbook, and we have some updates for you!

Please share your photos with us! If you or your student would like to submit any other photos (NOT senior photos) to the yearbook, please use jump code BHYR (submission does not guarantee that the photo will be in the yearbook, and senior photos must be submitted to the senior photo website). 

To use a jump code, go to lps.org and type the jump code into the search bar. You will be redirected to the appropriate website.

Attention Juniors & Seniors!

The prom committee wants the Junior and Senior student body to submit ideas on a theme for prom and is also looking for students who would want to be in a group alongside the student council for prom.

Submit your ideas through October 15th using the Google Link located in your Google Classroom.

Honors Convocation Packets

Any students who were unable to attend the Honors Convocation ceremony last week, we have a certificate packet for you in the Main Office. Please stop by at your earliest convenience.

Hallowpalooza

Join us on Saturday, October 23 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. for Hallowpalooza! Student Council is partnering up with Northeast athletics, clubs, and organizations to provide a safe trick-or-treating event for our community’s children in the form of a trunk-or-treat. Stay tuned for more information and announcements as we get closer to the event.
