Participation Packet Information
The participation packet for sports and activities registration is to be completed online in ParentVUE. If you do not have a ParentVUE account currently, please contact the Northeast main office 402-436-1303 opt. 2 for assistance in creating the account prior to attempting to register, or with any other issues concerning ParentVUE if you are having trouble logging in. Go to https://home.lps.org/athletics/packet/ scroll down and click on the blue button “Enter ParentVue to Complete Packet”.
The Nebraska School Activities Association requires that each student who wishes to participate in a sport, cheer or dance have a physical dated May 1st or after of the current school year. The online packet must be completed online before your student can try-out for any sport here at Northeast. If you do complete the consent portion prior to having the physical, please e-mail it to Cindy in the Athletics & Activities office at ctyrrel@lps.org or hand deliver it to the Athletics & Activities office, room 171 so it can be uploaded for you.
You can take a picture of your physical to upload with your phone if needed. The online system will only accept one page, so please be sure you upload the physical side (page 1 of 2). If you have a two-sided form with the medical history on side 2, only upload side 1 with the physician’s signature. Please make sure we can see the date of the physical. Here is an app you can put on your phone to help upload documents.

- If you are participating in speech (Oct. 16), debate (not currently offered at LNE), one act play production (Nov. 3), instrumental music/vocal music (Sept. 15) and/or journalism (Mar. 12) you only need the consents done. No physical is required. Consents for these are due by the date in ( ) behind each activity.

Lincoln Northeast Athletic Hall of Fame
The Northeast Athletic Hall of Fame Committee normally meets on the second Tuesday of each month at Greg’s Drive-In at 7:00 p.m.
Mark your calendar – The 2024 Induction Banquet will be held Saturday, January 27, 2024 beginning at 5:30 p.m. (social), 7:00 p.m. (dinner). The 2024 inductees are: Roslyn Lewis ’97, Clifford Brye ’98, Kylee Dart ’07, Cory Steiger ’07, Porter Groves ’09, Jordan Schroer ’12, Toni Tupper ’14. Jim Cook – Hall of Honor, 1956 Boys Basketball team and the 1982 Girls Basketball team. The Inductees will be introduced at halftime of the varsity boys basketball game in the afternoon on Saturday, January 27th.
If you know of someone you feel should be considered for the Athletic Hall of Fame, please follow the link and print off a nomination form. The more athletic accomplishments you can provide, the better for helping the committee when casting their votes for future inductees.

Rocket Store
LNE has a store in the commons/cafeteria of the school. For your convenience, the Rocket Store is open during home varsity volleyball and basketball games. Check at the ticket gate and they will get someone to help you. The store is also open during Rocket Ready Days, 8th grade information night, 9th grade orientation and Parent/Teacher Conferences.
We also have an online store (see link at the bottom) The majority of these items are not available in the in-house store. If you don’t see what you like online or if you need something last minute, contact the LNE Athletic Office (402) 436-1337 to come in and shop during office hours (8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday-Friday). The in-house store currently only accepts cash or checks.
