From the Principal
Happy March Rockets! Hard to believe that quarter 4 is right around the corner. As the end of the quarter 3 draws near, please encourage your Student to reach out to her/his teacher should they have any questions about assignments, missing work, etc. Our staff is always ready and willing to help assist Scholars with anything they may need. We know that continued self advocacy is a great skill and we look forward to continued collaboration as the last quarter of the year approaches.
As always, our R.I.S.E. expectations are below: Being Respectful, Inclusive, Safe and Engaged will help ensure we are maintaining a safe and effective learning environment for all students.

Calendar items- For your planning purposes
- Spring Break: March 10th-14th
- Parent/Teacher conferences: April 16th, 3:45-5:45 in person. 5:45-6:45, teachers will do outreach via phone calls
- Prom: April 12th
Dance Criteria: Prom 2025
- Below are the eligibility expectations for the date range of January 6, 2025-April 4, 2025.
- Tardies: fewer than 60 periods
- Truancies: fewer than 30 periods
- Failing grades: no more than 2 F’s
- Suspensions: no out of school suspensions
- Student Guidelines/ Behavior expectations at Dances
- Appropriate dress and behavior is expected. Any student who attends a school event under the influence will be subject to school discipline and notification of the proper authorities, which may result in a police citation.
- The Northeast student must show his/her school ID at entrance.
- One guest per Northeast student is allowed. The guest’s name and school must be provided by the Northeast student at the time tickets are purchased.
- The guest must have a photo ID and cannot be older than 20 to avoid being able to purchase liquor.
- Entry to the dance is closed 60 minutes after the dance has started.
- Once a student leaves a dance, re-entry is not allowed.
